I've mostly stopped going to theaters to watch movies but this movie, "Funny People," is filled with intelligence, humor and poignancy and may get me in a theater and quick (and I'm not even a big Adam Sandler fan).
Postscript 11.29.2009: This movie was released and I rented it. I stopped watching it half way through as there was too much reference to sex and genital humor. I don't think I'm a prude in any sense of the word but it was too much.
