At work, National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Divison of AIDS, we observed the day with a silent walk about the small lake next to our offices, listening to the Division Director speak on the progress in confronting HIV/AIDS and watching a couple of videos, one on the history of the epidemic and the other on AIDS among black American women.

If its summer it must be time for a new iPhone. Here's the line (1 of 4 such) at a local mall. My line time: 4 hours even though I arrived at 5 a.m. - Apple store time: 20 minutes to buy and activate it. Oh joy...a new baby in the house.
